Soft start suppresses start-up reaction for smooth start-ups and enhanced gear life. Dust extraction shroud is provided to capture dust while working in concrete surfacing applications. Anti-restart protection is designed to avoid motor start up in the on-power switch position after a power disruption. Loop handle can be held at multiple positions for enhanced comfort in various orientations. Protective zig-zag varnish seals the armature so that no dust or debris enters.
